Christmas is just two weeks away and the neighborhood is all dressed up for the occasion! Each year certain traditions continue – such as red ribbon-wrapped light poles, lighted buildings and the beautiful lighted front gate. And just when we need some cheer up most here comes Stillwaters lights.
Here are some shots of our neighborhood this year.
And don’t forget those holiday traditions nuts and pecans!
Resident Linda Bailey is selling Pecans as a fundraiser for Altrusa International. The local chapter has been selling pecans for 30 years as an annual fundraiser for Centralia College Scholarships. Two choices this year – Regular one pound, no preservatives = $12 and Dark Chocolate one pound is $15. There are many holiday pecan recipes for the regular pecans and as Linda says “the dark chocolate pecans are so good right out of the package.” Contact Linda at 360-827-1338 to purchase and she will deliver.
