If you think living in a retirement community is dull and boring you don’t know this neighborhood. Besides a number of activities in the neighborhood (See Stillwaters Estates Calendar), there are always things happening in the Centralia/Chehalis and surrounding areas to garner resident’s interest.

This coming weekend is ChehalisFest and it starts off Saturday morning with Blueberry Pancakes at Lewis County’s Historical Museum at 8 a.m. Stick around for the All-American Hot Dog BBQ Lunch!

Art Sale, sidewalk artists, classic car show, a KidZone with bouncy house, face painting and more, and all kinds of fun experiences and sales in Downtown Chehalis. Plus!

Visit the airport as well. Usually a show of planes there as Chehalis celebrates Planes, Trains and Automobiles.

Two car shows take over Chehalis Avenue this year during ChehalisFest! From 9 am – 3 pm the classics and hot rods will be on display for the 12th annual Chariots Car Show.

The Southwest Washington Fair is coming our way starting August 13th. Check out the website for SWWA FAIR exhibitors if you think you might have something to show in the fair. Bake something, sew something or grow something and you can submit it to the fair for judging. Easy to do and oh so fun if you win a ribbon!
