I noticed an ad this week for the Evergreen Playhouse Theater, a local live-theater group. They are celebrating 60 years in the community this next year and they are a little jewel nestled in downtown Centralia.
I have been to several shows there over the years and I really recommend this to others who enjoy the live theater experience. Sitting close to the stage (which is every seat in the house) is a great experience. Here is a link to get a 360 degree view inside the Evergreen Playhouse.
If you have never been to local theater you should try it at least once. The 2019-2020 season is up now on their website and it looks great:

The tiny theater environment is a whole different experience from places like the Paramount or even the Pantages in Tacoma. It is reasonably priced at $10 per show for seniors or $65 for a season ticket.
The current season is underway with a show starting May 3rd called “Come Back to the Five and Dime Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean”. The story takes place in a small West Texas town for a twentieth reunion for a group of women. Their connection to the actor (James Dean) take the story in a completely unexpected direction.
Here’s the link if you are interested in tickets:
Many years ago Mr. Blogger and I had season tickets to The Olympia Little Theater. Invariably, the shows were unique and entertaining. Sometimes we laughed ourselves silly and other times we were less impressed, but never did we regret the outing. Give it a try for a show or two and let me know what you think.

Cindy, I love the quote by G.P. Shaw. I happen to agree with his words. Thanks for sharing
