It’s that time of year when new house sites are being dug and foundations poured. Construction is very busy here in Stillwaters right now. We have several homes under construction right now, including several spec homes waiting for buyers to come along and tell us their requests for interior colors and products.
This year the construction actually includes an add-on to our community building. We are expanding the exercise room. We are adding space for the increasing number of folks using exercise machines and doing exercise programs. This will be great for those of us using the current space and hopefully encourage others to make exercise a regular part of their routine.
You may notice the beginning of our construction project here behind The Gathering Place. Digging out the foundation happened this week and construction will last through the summer.
Word from the Office: “Throughout construction, we really must ask residents to stay clear of the area for your safety and our crew’s peace of mind. We realize this will restrict the pet walking area but really appreciate your cooperation. Thanks in advance!”
We now have a big pile of dirt in our backyard – Just like in our other new construction areas. The dirt eventually gets moved as construction progresses but for now we can say we live in the hills of Stillwaters.
