A bit of this and that about Stillwaters Estates this week!
Stillwaters Estates is a beautiful place to live and this photo shares some of the regional beauty that some of our “EB Browning Ave.” folks have. This is Mount Rainier on a recent evening walk through the neighborhood. Lovely sight!
Gardens are sure growing well right now – with a mix of cloudy/sunny and sometimes rainy days the plants are getting green and the flowers beautiful!
Warning for the Squeamish: Snake Photo
This little guy is a regular visitor to my yard and particularly likes my patio when it has been warmed by the sun!
Enjoy your week ahead!

Seminary Hill Poetry Walk Coming to Centralia This Saturday
David Underwood will lead the sixth annual Seminary Hill Poetry Walk starting at 10 a.m. this Saturday at Centralia’s hillside forest. The walk will end at noon with refreshments. The walk includes about a dozen stops where Underwood will read poems about trees, forests and the majesty of the natural world. The poems are generally short — just a few stanzas each — but they carry unusual power when recited under a sweeping canopy of hundred-year-old fir, cedar and maple. The ninth stop will be in an area Underwood calls the “Woodland Chapel,” where several fallen trees serve as benches.
This is a free event. It begins and ends in the Seminary Hill Natural Area parking lot at the eastern edge of Locust Street. The poetry walk covers about a mile at an easy pace, and should be accessible to all who are ordinarily mobile. For more information email [email protected]. Weather:
The forecast is for warming weather (high 70s) this weekend. There is a slight chance of rain next week but most of the next seven days will be in the 70s. Here’s an interesting fact. Fifty years ago today the weather was raining and called drizzly. I will take today’s weather thank you!
