It struck me this week that I am coming up on four years being a REALTOR and selling homes here at Stillwaters. How privileged I am to work in such a beautiful place. I work three days a week in the Stillwaters Estates office and most of my time here in the office is spent working with buyers of Stillwaters homes. Being a REALTOR in this neighborhood and showing homes comes with bonuses.
I meet great people looking for the ideal home – one that meets their changing needs as they age. I meet people from near and far, different stages in their lives and with as varied needs as their personalities. I always feel like it is a wonderful mystery to solve to find the right home for them.
Next, I am showing quality homes with unique and time tested features like wide doorways, no steps, lots of closets and storage, and a nice variety of home plans (so that not every house looks alike). Who could ask for more as a REALTOR!
Third, I get to work every day in a beautiful neighborhood. This little guy persisted in eating the neighbor’s roses and almost the whole front garden as I was showing houses on Wednesday. He looked up when we arrived but didn’t care at all that we were there – he just kept on eating.
I guess this was my early blog about being thankful I work (and live) in such a great place. Next week is Thanksgiving but it came a little early here!
